Wagon Full of Eggs

Here are the last two Easter cards I have to share with you. They are the same layout, but in reverse colors. Here is the Brocade Blue version...

I used the *NEW* stamp set, Wagon Full of Fun from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I stamped and cut out the wagon, then stamped the egg image on two different sheets of DSP from the Hostess Level 1 Print Pack. One was on Cameo Coral the other Brocade Blue. I cut out each section of the eggs.

I also stamped the egg onto my Whisper White mat using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I adhered with cut pieces of the DSP egg image into the mat, and then colored in the rest with So Saffron Marker.

Here is the Cameo Coral version of the card...

The "Egg-ceptional!" saying was punched out using the Large Oval Punch and framed with the *NEW* Scallop Oval Punch.

I added a dot of Crystal Effects on each "nail" on the wagon and also to the dots on the Egg.

Playful Petals Easter Card

This card was a projects we made at last month's S.O.T.T.S. club and one that I sent out to a few of our family for Easter.

The flower, stem, and leaves were made using the technique White-On-White Embossing. I stamped the images in Whisper White Craft Ink, covered with White Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool. Once it's dry, I colored with markers inbetween the white lines. After coloring in, you can wipe any excess marker off of the white lines with just a dry paper towel.

The Ivory Half-Pearl and Clear Rinestone Brad are from the Pretties Kit, and added a little extra fanciness to the card.

Stamp Sets: Playful Petals, All Holidays
Card Stock: Certainly Celery, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, Tea Party DSP
Inks: Almost Amethyst Marker, Pretty In Pink Marker, So Saffron Marker, Certainly Celery Marker, Whisper White Craft Pad, Versamark Pad
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pretties Kit, Small Tag Punch, Tag Punch, Dimentionals, Certainly Celery Poly-Twill Ribbon (SAB 2009), Pretty In Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

Punch Bunny Easter Card

Here is the card I made for our Family & Freinds for Easter. I just love this cute little punch bunny!

Bunny

The punch bunny is made with the following punches (all SU!):
1 3/4" Circle-Whisper White
Large Oval-2 Whisper White
Small Oval-2 Pretty in Pink
3/4" Circle-2 Whisper White
1/4" Circle-2 Basic Black

I sponged Pretty in Pink on the ears as well as the cheeks, then used a Basic Black Marker to draw the whiskers and dots, and a White Gel pen for the eyes. The nose is a Pretty in Pink Brad.

I also used the *NEW* Scallop Oval Punch and coordinating Stamp Set, Ovals All. You might notice the "Easter Wishes" saying is not part of the Ovals All set. I colored in the flower portion of the stamp and then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the "Easter Wishes" from the Loads of Love Accessories set.

Here is the card in Almost Amethyst...

Mask Project

Last weekend my daughter had to make a mask for a Romeo & Juliet Feast in her class. After a trip to Michael's for the plastic mask, we rumaged through some of my Stampin' Up! goodies...

Theater

Here's what she came up with...

She painted the mask a turquoise blue. Once it dried, working in small areas, she applied Crystal Effects and then covered with Clear Micro Beads. It really gave the mask a cool texture...and when you take a picture using the flash, it gives off a reflection...

She then chose of few flowers from the Pretties Kit and colors them using markers and Aqua Painters. A clear rinestone brad through the flowers to hold them together, then she adhered it using the Hot Glue Gun. At Michael's, she also found some rinestone stickers & feathers, and she applied them using the Hot Glue Gun as well.

She didn't like the look of the white elastic band around the back of her head, so we tied on two pieces of the Retired Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon...they tie together once she has the mask on.
Mardi Gras 1
The really awesome thing is, she also needs a mask for a dance she is doing for her Dance Performance...Now she'll get to use it twice!

Roll

Just shows how some of our wonderful SU! accessories have some many more uses than just Card-making and Scrapbooking!

Have a great day!

The flower was made using the SAB stamp set, Polka Dot Punches with the 5-Petal Flower Punch. It would be cute on a card all by itself!
