Bundled In Love

A girl at my work asked me to make Baby Shower Invitations for her daughter. I had so much fun coming up with this.

Baby Smiley

I used the retired stamp set, Bundled In Love. Sometimes I wonder why SU! retires cetain sets, and this was one of them. I just think it's so cute!

I made the invitation a card-front, instead of a card that opens. I wanted to make something very simple and clean looking and I just loved the color combo...Chocolate Chip, Barely Banana, and Baja Breeze.

Stamp Sets: Bundled In Love (retired)
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Barely Banana, Whisper White
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Versamark Ink
Accessories: Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimentionals

Pop-Up Cake Card

This is the card I gave to my mom for her Birthday last month. I had so much fun making this card!!

The flowers were stamped with the Sale-A-Brations set, Polka Dot Punches and then punched out with the 5-Petal Flower Punch. The Filigree Designed Brad was added for the center.

The Happy Birthday tab is attached to a SU! Gift Ceretificate. I made the pouch by lining the So Saffron mat with Sticky Strip along the side and bottom edges, and adhered it to the Sahara Sand mat. I used the 1 3/8" Circle Punch to punch a half circle out of the top for the tab to show. The Gift Certificate slides in and out by pulling the tab.

Here's a close-up of the flowers....

The inside is the BEST part! SU! Just released 2 *NEW* 3-D Sizzix Dies! One is this Pop-Up Cake...

The die comes with all the instructions on how to attach each layer properly, so the cake will fold flat when the card is closed! So much FUN! Besides a candle cut-out, the die also has a Bride & Groom cut-out, so you can make your cake into a pop-up wedding cake!!

Stamp Sets: Polka Dot Punches (SAB), Oval All, Mark the Date
Card Stock: Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Delicate Dots DSP (SAB)
Inks: Bashful Blue, So Saffron
Accessories: Sizzix Big Shot, Pop-Up Cake Die, Tab Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 5-Petal Flower Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Filigree Designer Brads, Dimentionals, Sticky Strip
Have a great day! Trampoline

Su made this cute card. She used glitter glue to outline and add some sparkle to the card.

And finally here is the card Jo made. She used the technique from the Sale-A-Brations catalog for the folded flower.

Just wanted to share some of my S.O.T.T.S. ladies' creativity with you!
Hope you are staying cool...this weather is unseasonably HOT! Boiling Hot

Wagon Full of Eggs

Here are the last two Easter cards I have to share with you. They are the same layout, but in reverse colors. Here is the Brocade Blue version...

I used the *NEW* stamp set, Wagon Full of Fun from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I stamped and cut out the wagon, then stamped the egg image on two different sheets of DSP from the Hostess Level 1 Print Pack. One was on Cameo Coral the other Brocade Blue. I cut out each section of the eggs.

I also stamped the egg onto my Whisper White mat using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I adhered with cut pieces of the DSP egg image into the mat, and then colored in the rest with So Saffron Marker.

Easter egg coloring

Here is the Cameo Coral version of the card...

The "Egg-ceptional!" saying was punched out using the Large Oval Punch and framed with the *NEW* Scallop Oval Punch.

I added a dot of Crystal Effects on each "nail" on the wagon and also to the dots on the Egg.

Stamp Sets: Wagon Full of Fun
Card Stock: Close to Cocoa, Brocade Blue, Cameo Coral, So Saffron, Whisper White, Print Packs DSP (Hostess Level 1)

Playful Petals Easter Card

This card was a projects we made at last month's S.O.T.T.S. club and one that I sent out to a few of our family for Easter.

The flower, stem, and leaves were made using the technique White-On-White Embossing. I stamped the images in Whisper White Craft Ink, covered with White Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool. Once it's dry, I colored with markers inbetween the white lines. After coloring in, you can wipe any excess marker off of the white lines with just a dry paper towel.

The Ivory Half-Pearl and Clear Rinestone Brad are from the Pretties Kit, and added a little extra fanciness to the card.

Stamp Sets: Playful Petals, All Holidays
Card Stock: Certainly Celery, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, Tea Party DSP
Inks: Almost Amethyst Marker, Pretty In Pink Marker, So Saffron Marker, Certainly Celery Marker, Whisper White Craft Pad, Versamark Pad
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Pretties Kit, Small Tag Punch, Tag Punch, Dimentionals, Certainly Celery Poly-Twill Ribbon (SAB 2009), Pretty In Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
I have one more Easter Card to share with you.... Bunny Face

Punch Bunny Easter Card

Here is the card I made for our Family & Freinds for Easter. I just love this cute little punch bunny!

Bunny

The punch bunny is made with the following punches (all SU!):
1 3/4" Circle-Whisper White
Large Oval-2 Whisper White
Small Oval-2 Pretty in Pink
3/4" Circle-2 Whisper White
1/4" Circle-2 Basic Black

I sponged Pretty in Pink on the ears as well as the cheeks, then used a Basic Black Marker to draw the whiskers and dots, and a White Gel pen for the eyes. The nose is a Pretty in Pink Brad.

I also used the *NEW* Scallop Oval Punch and coordinating Stamp Set, Ovals All. You might notice the "Easter Wishes" saying is not part of the Ovals All set.
