Top Note Bag

When I first saw this idea online, I knew I would be making it with the Raspberry Tart DSP! I just love the color combo!

I cut 2 Top Notes with the Sizzix, one in each pattern, and then cut them in half width-wise. I also trimed along the outer score lines and then attached one half of each pattern to a Rose Red Top Note.

I cut the top off of a mini gift bag, leaving it 3" tall. Keeping the bag closed, I put sticky strip along all four edges of each side. I attached each Top Note, making sure they matched up. The handles are punched from the Small Oval Punch.

Butterfly 2

The Butterfly is from the Sizzix Die, Beautiful Butterflies. I layered two different sizes on top of each other. The Butterfly's body is a staple threaded with Pink Beads from the Bead Duos. Here is a close-up....

Just Buzzin' By

When I first saw the stamp set, Just Buzzin' By, I knew I just had to have it! I just thought it was so cute!

Bounce
This is another card we made at my S.O.T.T.S. club a couple months ago. We used Watercolor Crayons to color in the hive and the bee.

The bee's wings were covered with Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds, then finished with another layer of Crystal Effects to "seal" in the glitter.

The background flowers were also highlighted with Dazzling Diamonds for the centers. The petals were colored in with a white WWC and then I used a White Gel Pen around the edge of each petal. Here is a close-up....

Here is the inside of the card....the honey in the honey pot was finished with Crystal Effects.

Stamp Sets: Just Buzzin' By
Card Stock: So Saffron, Basic Black, Whisper White
Inks: Black Stazon, More Mustard Marker
Accessories: Aqua Painters, WWC (Whisper White, So Saffron, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquiose, Chocolate Chip), Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimentionals, White Gel Pen, Sponges

Leprechaun Punch Art

Happy St. Patty's Day! I saved my favorite St. Patty's Card for today. It's a cute punched Leprechaun and his pot of gold!

Pot Of Gold

I had so much fun making this card! For those of you who know me, you know I love Punch Art! I just love the way someone can make something from a few different punches!

Here's the recipe for the Leprechaun:
Small Tag Punch-Always Artichoke
Word Window Punch-Always Artichoke
1-3/8" Circle Punch-Blush Blossom
Scallop Circle Punch-Really Rust
1/3"x 1" strip of Basic Black, trimmed to fit hat width
1/2"x1/2" Square of Summer Sun, punched with a 1/4" Square Punch to make the buckle

Here's the recipe for the Pot of Gold:
1-3/4" Circle Punch-Basic Black
Wide Oval Punch-Basic Black
2 Word Window Punches-Basic Black; one is the top of the pot, the other is cut in half for the pot legs
10-12 1/4" Circle Punches-Summer Sun for the Gold

The "Gold" was then covered with Crystal Effects and Gold Fine Galaxy Glitter. The background texture was made using the *NEW* Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1. To use you sandwich as follows: Multipurpose Platform (Comes with the Big Shot), Textured Plate, CS, scrap piece of CS to make more defined texture, Silicone Rubber, Impressions Pad

Inks: Basic Black Marker
Card Stock: Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, Basic Black, Blush Blossom, Summer Sun, Really Rust

Four Heart Clover Card

I found this idea in the March edition of SU!'s magazine for Demonstrators, Stampin' Success. It's a four leaf clover made from the Full Heart Punch!
St. Patty's Kite

I used the Full Heart Punch and the Hostess Level 1 Patterns Pack DSP II, in Garden Green. For the stem, I used the Large Oval Punch. I punched out one oval, and then slid the punch over to cut just the edge off of where the oval was punched from...you can make your stem as skinny or as thick as you want.

The Kiwi Kiss Button is from the Button Bouquet Designer Buttons. I tied a small piece of Natural Hemp Twine through the botton holes and adhered with a Pop-Up Glue Dot.

Stamp Set: Pinch Proof
Inks: Versamark Ink
Card Stock: Kiwi Kiss, Garden Green, Patterns Pack DSP II (Hostess Level 1)
Accessories: Full Heart Punch, Large Oval Punch, Kiwi Kiss Button Bouquet, Natural Hemp Twine, Pop-Up Glue Dots, Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimentionals
Don't forget to wear your GREEN tomorrow!St. Patty's Magic Hat

Lucky Leprechaun Card

This was one of the cards we made at last month's S.O.T.T.S. Club. It's the happy Leprechaun from the set Pinch Proof.

St. Patty's Clover Pinwheel

This is a 5-1/4" x 5-1/4" square card, which fits the Scallop Circle Die perfectly. I used the *NEW* Circle Scissor Plus to cut the 3-3/4", 3-1/2", 3-1/4" circles. It is so easy to use and another fun way to layer your cards.

The Leprechaun is stamped in Versamark Ink and then in Garden Green Ink, then covered with Clear Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. If you have Garden Green Craft Ink, you can omit using the Versamark Ink. The Pinch Proof Scallop image was inked the same way, and then punched with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch. I used markers to color in the images. Here is a close-up.

For the Kiwi Kiss color around the Pinch Proof and on the Leprechaun's jacket I used my Classic Kiwi Kiss Stamp Pad and with it closed, I squeezed it together to get ink on the top cover. Then I took a Blender Pen to transfer the color. That's one of the best techniques to use the In Color Stamp Pads as markers...until ©Stampin' Up! realizes we want them to start making In Color markers.

Stamp Sets: Pinch Proof
Inks: Versamark Ink, Garden Green Pad, More Mustard Marker, Blush Blossum Marker, Kiwi Kiss Pad
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Garden Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Sizzix Scallop Circle Die, Circle Scissor Plus, Glass Mat, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimentionals, Blender Pen, Kiwi Kiss 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon

Top Note Quited Card

This is one of the cards we made at the last S.O.T.T.S. Club. It's a Paper Quit!

This is such a fun idea! I cut 1" squares from the Raspberry Tart DSP....I used about 20 squares total for this card. This I layered them in rows and adhered them to a piece of Whisper White CS about 4"x5" in size. Then I ran it thought the Sizzix using the Top Note Die and cut off the scored frame. It was then adhered to a Pretty In Pink Top Note to give a nice frame.

The flower image is from the Sweet Stems Stamp Set. I colored the image in, punched it out using the Curly Label Punch, and then finished it with Crystal Effects and sponged the edges with Rose Red Ink.

Stamp Sets: Sweet Stems
Inks: Rose Red Pad, Kiwi Kiss Pad, Cameo Coral Marker, Rose Red Marker
Card Stock: Rose Red, Kiwi Kiss, Pretty Ink Pink, Rapsberry Tart DSP, Whisper White
Accessories: Sizzix Top Note Die, Curly Label Punch, Crystal Effects, Dimentionals, Sponges
